Assaulted Women’s Helpline

The Assaulted Women’s Helpline offers a 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis line to all woman who have experienced abuse. We provide counselling, emotional support, information, and referrals. We recognize abuse as one example of women’s social, political, and economic inequality in the world. The Helpline is dedicated to working towards equality for all women.

Chantel’s Place

Chantel’s Place opened in November 1998 in partnership with the Peel Regional Police. Chantel’s Place is a private, secure area that provides a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence irrespective of gender, age, and ethnicity. It is a place to go for medical help and examination, and counselling.

Hope 24/7 is a charity that offers psychotherapy services for people aged 12 and older who have been impacted by relationship & sexual violence. Hope 24/7 is the provincially designated Sexual Assault Centre (SAC) for the Region of Peel, and serves a population of more than 1.4 million people.
